TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
FIX API is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform how you think about it.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
